Crack Social Media in Just 1 Day

Social Media is simply wonderful. Its importance as a tool for business cannot be understated. Here are just a few of the great things that you can do with social media from a business perspective:

  • Generate Leads
  • Increase Brand Awareness
  • Boost Sales
  • Communicate and Engage with Your Audience
  • Learn More About Your Customers

If you are a business owner then it’s likely that you are already aware of this. But, are you just doing Social Media for the sake of it? Or do you have a strategy, and more importantly, a strategy that is producing results?

If not, don’t worry, Jam Thinking are here to help!

We’re only going to lay out a few of the basics for you here, because well, there is so much that goes into creating good content and representing your business effectively online than we are able to comment on this brief post.

Nevertheless, here’s a brief look at some main social platforms; their characteristics and the opportunity they represent

Facebook

Facebook is first and foremost a personal network for people to connect with friends and loved ones. It’s important that your brand fits into this atmosphere naturally so as to keep people interested in what you’re posting. Don’t make it solely about selling, instead aim to post videos and curated content that’s designed to make them click, “like,” comment on, and share. The more people are engaging, the more frequently you’ll appear in others timelines.

Instagram

A visual platform that’s based wholly on photo and video posts, and almost entirely mobile; this platform suits more artistic niches. As such, it may not be the best fit for your business. Not all content needs to be shared on every platform!

A good eye for detail and basic photography skills are necessary for a professional Instagram account, so the photos and videos posted to your account are high-quality.

Twitter

Twitter is perfect for sharing quick pieces of information and photos in an effort to drive people back to your site or landing pages. People tend to scroll through quickly so you need more than just simple text to stop them in their tracks. You only get a small amount of characters, so make them count!

Hashtags (#) are your key tool on Twitter. These allow you to reach a wider audience than just your followers by getting involved in existing conversations.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn is specifically designed for business and professionals. It has many features that make it a valuable tool for not only driving traffic but prospecting, establishing thought leadership, sharing company news, as well as recruiting.

YouTube

As the leading video-sharing platform in the world, YouTube could be a great way for your business to get noticed. As well as being more engaging and shareable than text content, videos also aid your search rank in Google.

Quality, purpose and value are crucial aspects of creating videos for YouTube. The video and audio need to be crisp, clear, and easy to understand. Shaky cameras will only negatively effect your businesses image.
